This app is very obviously rigged. The day after my gold runs out I get 5 likes after barely getting any over the month I had it. Coincidence, I think not.

Seriously. Go out and find a real man or woman. These tinder people are fake insecure people.

I used the app when i was going away for school. Got a decent amount of matches maybe over two hundred in 5 months. When i moved back home over six hours away i decided to reset my account so i don’t have a span of matches from hours away and can match with people in my area. I would get 1 match a week but it said i had over 65+ “secret admirers “ and then my secret admirers went down to 40? And I haven’t gotten a match in a few weeks and it went down to 0? I looked up online and found out i was banned without the app telling me. Thank whoever that i didn’t pay for premium
  • Discrimination!

I believe I was banned for my wheelchair selfies because you guys never told me the real reason or worked with me on it. From my point of view you discriminate against people with disabilities. My account was banned a while back, right after I changed my selfie profile picture to a full picture of me in my power wheelchair, for no reason I got no answers as to why and no way of fixing the problem. The support team never got back to me, never helped me in ANYWAY. I want my account back, I did not do anything wrong and if I did I want a straight answer as to what it was and want a chance to fix it. I will keep sending messages until I get a straight answer. You have failed at your job in support!
  • Tinder/dating apps is for the unatttractive

Not saying this to be cocky or anything but tinder and all the dating apps at this point are filled with unattractive folks. The attractive women act like they are too good to be up there and if u do run across one they are either spam or they just won’t respond.

Tinder does it’s job well, whether you want a relationship or a casual hook up, this is probably the best app for it, even in the free version. However, this is mostly me trying to get the attention of the dev team because they don’t offer a direct feedback option unless you delete your account. Firstly, there are a lot of spam profiles. They’re pretty easy to spot- the same profile picture and same bio which offers a username to a premium snapchat (which is also a scam, you’ve been warned newbies.) I feel like this could be easily remedied with a different verification method. Tinder has access to every photo you upload, so why can’t there be a way for tinder to suspend your account by saying “hey, your profile is an exact duplicate of this other profile, so we believe this is a bot. If not, please let us know so we can purge the fake ones.” Maybe you could upload a selfie and have the dev team verify that it’s you in the pictures you show. Secondly, and this is speaking from a man’s perspective, there are a lot of self-proclaimed “sissy/cross-dressers” and transgenders. I personally have nothing to do with that lifestyle, plenty of my friends are gay, however, I do feel there should be a way to distinguish these profiles, maybe an option of “male seeking transgender” or something like that. Thirdly, an option for what you’re looking for put in plain sight. Pretty much every other dating app has this option, perhaps something like “Romance/Friendship/Fling/‘my friends made me do this’” And lastly, to round this all out, free profiles don’t have enough swipes. This is a personal gripe, because I know it’s how the app makes money, but all the above flaws make it to where you could waste all of your 100 or so SWIPES (not just likes, unless that recently changed) on fake profiles, people you’re not interested in, or people who have no interest in you. I have had a lot of fun on tinder both for “something real” and casual stuff, maybe you will too, but I believe these complaints are legitimate and I have offered solutions I think would help.
  • They BLOCKED my ACCOUNT

I started my Tinder account at 17 years old and I put that I was 17 in my profile description. Apparently Tinder saw that and blocked my account because you have to be 18 or older to use the app, BUT it clearly stated on the App Store that you have to be “17+.” I had my birthday in September so I’ve been 18 for some months now and I still CAN’T get in to my account. It’s unfair.
  • Crashes constantly, no fix, has been MONTHS

App consistently crashes nearly every 3-4 minutes, or every 10-12 swipes.

All you get is spam from fake profiles trying to get you to sign up for webcam sites. Would give negative stars if I could.
  • Wrongfully banned from Tinder.. but did nothing wrong

I don’t know why my account was banned since IVE DONE NOTHING WRONG & didn’t violate any terms of use. but I can’t login & apparently there’s no way to speak to anyone who works for Tinder so if I could rate this app as 0/5 stars I WOULD. I advise everyone to switch to Hinge because it’s 10x better.
