This app is a miracle! TEN out of five stars if you ask me. WAY worth the $60 a year. I am super satisfied with this app. It makes everything easy. And it’s very flexible!
  • Nice recipes, you have to do all the work

I tried the ‘full’ package version of the subscription. The app presents you with a curated dinner, lunch, and breakfast options. Lunch and breakfast require a more expensive subscription. You can chose from last and current week’s menu options to build your own menu. There are integrations with popular grocery shopping services. Sadly, this app falls short in too many areas. So much so, that I think simply finding recipes online is an easier experience than using this app. For example: - No ‘leftover’ options, you’re cooking every day, every meal - No option to suggest recipes based on existing ingredients, you have to track your pantry and find matching recipes yourself - The app doesn’t combine similar ingredients, great way to tick off your instacart shopper by buying 3 different types of onions or bell peppers) - Fractional items in the shopping list, like 2.5 tomatoes - You have to ‘re-select’ all items one by one after sending the shopping list to instacart. This kind of defeats the whole point of integration with instacart I’m cancelling my subscription before trial is over. It’s questionable if this application creates any value, as you’re doing all the meal selection/planning/shopping manually any way.
  • Another trial app, no thanks

Why do businesses still do this? It is because statistically you will overlook canceling prior to being charged at least once if not more. It’s free money for the developer. Look, not trying to be “that person” however why would anyone sign up for a trial that you need to remember to cancel??? Bait your potential customers with a limited version of your app first, if it is worth it they will pay. Mealime does this and I happily pay them because I know how well their app works. Due to my heavily restricted diet I need to find out what apps actually have the preferences I need. If I can’t see that I am definitely not wasting my time or money on your app. Free trials are a tactic to get information and hedging the bet that people will overlook the timeframe and get charged. I refuse to do business with companies that use this dated and shady policy, you should too.
  • Great Concept

Like this idea of this app but the recipe selections are very limited.
  • You CANNOT CANCEL EASILY

It’s hard to cancel and that is always a problem. This app is not listed under your subscriptions so you forget what you signed up for! Then they withdraw the funds from your bank account. Nowhere to cancel except maybe emailing support. That is not ok!
  • Limited Options with Difficult Cancellation

    1. There are like 10 applicable recipes I can see and that’s it. You can get that free on google. Don’t waste your time with this app. 2. In order to cancel a service that doesn’t provide much, they make you call them on central standard time (a time zone I very much do not reside in). If you can sign up online, you better be able to cancel online. This is a scam!
  • Great idea

Love the idea of making a menu and having it automatically set up my grocery list. But the app keeps resetting when I enter my Kroger info.
  • Versatile!

We’ve used eMeals off and on for years. It’s really grown and become an incredible resource. The integration with local shopping companies and access to other meal plans has made this an app that we can’t go without. It’s easy to use and versatile. I absolutely love eMeals as a concept and as an app!
