  • To be desired

Interface isn’t the cleanest. Too simple and when I search for a movie I can’t even at it to my list. Idk you get what you pay for.
  • Good streaming app, no downloading for offline

    By jbologh
As the title says. If they updated the app to allow downloads for offline play, would give 5 stars.
  • TV App is going downhill

    By spadict
I’ve used the TV app for years and recently it’s really gone to waste. Constantly freezes or audio drops and I have to close and rerun the video. Often it forgets my location and starts from the beginning. Often crashes after failing to play the video 3 times - I suspect the code contains an arbitrary instruction to force crash after 3 networking failures, or it feels that way in any case. What happened? It used to work so well. You’ve added near to no new features in years yet the quality goes downhill. So frustrating, I think I might have to cancel soon.

  • Horrible interface

    By Rambo1965
Hands down, absolutely the worst interface I’ve ever used for a streaming app. There are no features to describe, especially after recent updates. The incredibly basic ability to add movies/shows to your watchlist has been removed, so the app doesn’t even offer any functionality other than forcing you to manually search for what you want and pressing play. Why this app even shows you recommendations if you can’t add them to a watchlist is completely beyond me.Guess I just don’t have the mega mind level of intelligence that HBO does. The HBO Now experience is complete, utter garbage. Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime all off not only entirely functional, feature-rich, and user-friendly UIs, but they stream in much better quality as well. At a much lower cost, no less. The $15/month price of HBO Now is an absolute scam for what you actually get.
  • It won’t login

    By Adrian Douglas
I have tried to login with the correct info. I pay for it and I have it on my Xbox and DirectTV. HBO please fix this. I can’t even use the app that I’m paying for.🤦‍♂️
  • Freezes

The app freezes every couple of minutes while I’m watching a show. My other streaming apps work fine, so it is not my internet connection. I hav tried viewing the app on multiple platforms with the same result. If it does not improve I will be canceling the service before I’m charged again next month.
  • Update-crashing

Updated the app now I can’t use app crashing

    By Altruistic-Gamer
Every time I have to skip forward or backward I need to use screen whereas for Netflix, the folio works perfectly fine with arrow keys being used for forward and backward skipping. It also does not let you cast your video to other devices connected to same wi-fi whereas Netflix app easily detects the living room Roku TV and casts the video on the Roku Netflix app (you still need to sign in but still you can do that). It gives an option to cast to nearby devices but fails to detect the devices.
  • Dissatisfaction

It has very little show options along with movie options, feel as if it is over priced.
