Can you learn more than one language? The reason for this is that I believe that I am close to fluent in Spanish before I use this—I just wanted to see if this is good educational. Anyways, I am beginning to learn Italian, so can I learn both, if not more languages?
  • Useless for Japanese

    By cjlee1
Because they refuse to provide any context for the phrases you are memorizing, you learn multiple ways of saying something like my name is ... but are left with no idea when to apply one or another. I have heard Japanese people say over and over that what makes a good speaker is the ability to go back and forth between the different levels of formality, and that is completely missing in this app.
  • Love it,but......

I’ve been using this app to refresh my Hebrew skills. I’ve taken many courses and am picking up discrepancies with what I have learned through native speakers. I feel that Duolingo is making errors and I would like to correct them but can’t find a way to do so. I have a feeling that Hebrew isn’t the only language that has errors. Update: I am ready to delete this app because it gets on my last nerve. Do NOT recommend it as it’s a pain in the neck.

  • Doulingo is the best language learning application I’ve ever used!

    By HambreBoy
Doulingo is great. I love all the effort put into it. I love the stories it has, especially the funny ones. I also adore streak freezes. They’ve saved my streak so many times. I love Doulingo. I would like to make a suggestion. Doulingo has many words to learn. Sometimes I try to use one of the words I’ve learned and forgot how to either pronounce or spell it. It wold really help if Doulingo had a dictionary for all the words you’ve learned. A dictionary would really improve Doulingo.

  • Great app, but one recommendation!!

    By GraceMarie34
Super fantastic app! I’m homeschooling due to the current pandemic and wanted to do something productive. I’ve also wanted to learn Spanish for years now, and decided to give it a shot. I was wondering which app I should go with. I was reading some articles on which one was the best app, and after a few articles I decided to go with this app! I was pleasantly surprised how fast I was learning! Great way of teaching how to speak any language, how it starts how with some everyday words! But when I completed the introduction, I ran into a problem. How could I remember which words meant what? I ended up just buying a journal and note which words mean what. But I think a great feature would be setting up a area where you can note which words mean what, inside the app. Maybe set up some different titles for what group of words they belong in! But aside from that, fantastic app, and would recommend getting if you want to learn a new language!!
  • New post-lesson animation takes too long

    By sqrl_grl
But the app, but not the new update—The counting up of points earned and the animation takes too long The listening exercises should get more to the point
